چکیده

How is it possible to prevent the sharing of cryptographic functions? This question appears to be fundamentally hard to address since in this setting the owner of the key is the adversary: she wishes to share a program or device that (potentially only partly) implements her main cryptographic functionality. Given that she possesses the cryptographic key, it is impossible for her to be prevented from writing code or building a device that uses that key. She may though be deterred from doing so. We introduce share-deterring public-key cryptographic primitives to address this problem. Such primitives have the feature of enabling the embedding of owner-specific private data into the owner’s publickey so that given access to any (even partially functional) implementation of the primitive, the recovery of the data can be facilitated. We formalize the notion of share-deterring in the context of encryption, signature, and identification and we provide efficient generic constructions that facilitate the recoverability of the hidden data while retaining privacy as long as no sharing takes place.

EEH: AGGH-like public key cryptosystem over the eisenstein integers using polynomial representations

GGH class of public-key cryptosystems relies on computational problems based on the closest vector problem (CVP) in lattices for their security. The subject of lattice based cryptography is very active and there have recently been new ideas that revolutionized the field. We present EEH, a GGH-Like public key cryptosystem based on the Eisenstein integers Z [ζ3] where ζ3 is a primitive...

Secret Sharing for n-Colorable Graphs with Application to Public Key Cryptography

At the beginning some results from the field of graph theory are presented. Next we show how to share a secret that is proper n-coloring of the graph, with the known structure. The graph is described and converted to the form, where colors assigned to vertices form the number with entries from Zn. A secret sharing scheme (SSS) for the graph coloring is proposed. The proposed method is applied t...

Comparison of two Public Key Cryptosystems

Since the time public-key cryptography was introduced by Diffie andHellman in 1976, numerous public-key algorithms have been proposed. Some of thesealgorithms are insecure and the others that seem secure, many are impractical, eitherthey have too large keys or the cipher text they produce is much longer than theplaintext. This paper focuses on efficient implementation and analysis of two mostpo...

A Novel Approach Share Key Refreshing for Long Term Protection in Distributed Cryptography by Proactive Security

Security is an important issue for networks, especially for those security-sensitive applications. In the entire environment of security, it is necessary to ensure privacy. This Paper provides share key refreshing technique for maintaining the security of the system, even when some nodes are in control of attacker. It provides an automated recovery of the security of individual components, avoi...
